Insider Tip: Smaller sailboats do not move as fast as the motor boats, but there is a bonus to gliding across the water using only a sail, the dolphins love to swim in the wake!! It is not uncommon to have dolphins just swim up next to the sailboats to play in the wake. And if you are really lucky, you may even spot whales between December and March, or July and November which are the when the whales migrate down the Pacific Coast! You can book the sunset departure any time of the year, but keep in mind, it rains pretty much every afternoon starting the end of May through the end of October. So we highly recommend choosing a morning charter at that time of year.
