Treetop Climbing & Canyoning Monteverde Cloud Forest Details
Monteverde Canyoning & Treetop Climbing Excursion Includes:
- * Access to the Finca Modelo private nature trails (Same cloud forest, less crowds)
- * Professional bilingual (English & Spanish) naturalist guides
- * Waterproof flashlight
- * Helmet, harness and all safety equipment and instruction for tree climbing & rappelling in the cloud forest
- * Climbing and rappelling a 40 meter (131 ft) Ficus tree
- * Refreshing beverage after the tour
Departures: Two times daily from Finca Modelo at 8:000am & 11:00am. Transportation from your hotel begins around 30 minutes prior to tour start time for $7USD additional per person. Exact meeting instructions will be provided on your confirmation voucher.
Length: Approximately 2-3 hours depending group size and climbing skills. We will also take a short break to recharge between activities.

- * Quick-dry lightweight clothes that can get wet
- * Sturdy secure tennis shoes or light hiking boots
- * Towel & change of clothes for after the waterfall rappelling
- * Eco-friendly bug repellent
- * Reusable bottle of water (you can refill on site)
- * Camera (If you bring a GoPro and the attachments, we can mount it to your helmet for you)
- * Cash for tour balance, souvenirs, optional food & beverages at the restaurant, & tips for your amazing treetop climbing & rappelling guides
Children: The minimum age for waterfall rappelling in the cloud forest is 15 years old. Children pay the same as adults.
Restrictions: You must be in good physical condition and able to fit into the safety equipment in order to participate in climbing & rappelling in Monteverde. Maximum group size is 10 people for your safety as well as personal attention.
Insider Tip: You can hit the Monteverde National Park of course, but you will not have nearly as much fun as you can at Finca Modelo. If seeking wildlife is your thing, they have you covered too. You can still spot all the same wildlife, but with a vantage point of 40 meters up in the cloud forest canopy... right before leaping off of course.
