Temporary Notice for Poas Volcano National Park Effective January 2024: For protection and preservation of the Poas National Park, they have placed temporary restrictions on the number of people who can visit the park daily, and the length of time each group is able to stay in the park. We ask that you book your spaces well in advance to secure your space, and operating schedules are subject to change slightly depending on the volume of people each day. You will be asked for your passport information to secure your National Park Passes in advance.
** PLEASE NOTE: Due to the strictly enforced sales tax law that has been introduced in Costa Rica, sales tax may be added to the final payment made to the operator. Sales tax is already included in the deposit amount.
