Tour Description

The Advanced Open Water Diver course increases your confidence in the water and builds your scuba skills. It is a great way to get more dives under your belt while still learning under the supervision of your PADI Instructor. The course builds on what you've learned and develops new capabilities by introducing you to new activities and new ways to enjoy scuba diving.

The Knowledge development course establishes the principles and basic information that all divers need to have while diving. Each Adventure Dive has its own knowledge and development session. You´ll find this in your Adventures in Diving manual. After reading, you are required to answer the questions from the Knowledge Review at the end of each chapter. Your Instructor will go over the answers and will give you any additional information.

Next you´ll have 5 open water dives under real diving conditions. The dives will be done at different locations. So you´ll get a good impression of what Pacific diving is like, in Costa Rica.

Once you´ve completed the course you will be the proud owner of the Advanced Open Water Diver certificate. This certificate is valid throughout the world and enables you to independently or with a buddy dive to a maximum of 100 feet.

Length: 2 days for the Advanced Open Water Diver Course.

Children: Minimum age is 10 and children pay the same price as an adult.

Note: We are a PADI 5 Star facility authorized to certify all levels and dive programs. Just ask us and we can provide a quote.
