Why choose between flying through the rainforest canopy and exploring Arenal's rugged trails when you can do both? This money-saving adventure combo pairs two of La Fortuna's most exciting outdoor activities into one action-packed experience. Soar across seven zipline cables, try an optional 50-meter rappel, then jump on a 4x4 ATV for a muddy, off-road adventure with spectacular views of Arenal Volcano. You'll also enjoy a visit to the Maleku Indigenous community and access to Montaña de Fuego's thermal pools and volcanic mud afterward. Two adventures, one convenient package, and a relaxing soak waiting at the finish. Now that's what we call a good day in Costa Rica!
Go Adventures Zip Line & Rappel Circuit
Start your adventure high above the rainforest canopy with Go Adventures' exciting zipline circuit. Seven cables and ten platforms take you through the treetops, with beautiful views of the Arenal River canyon and the surrounding tropical landscape. Professional bilingual guides provide your safety briefing, equipment, and guidance throughout the experience.
Want to add a little extra adrenaline? Choose the optional 50-meter rappel for an exhilarating descent toward the river canyon. Keep your eyes open for howler monkeys, white-faced capuchins, sloths, toucans, hummingbirds, and other rainforest residents along the way. Sightings aren't guaranteed, but the lush scenery is spectacular all on its own.

Arenal Volcano View ATV Tour
Now it's time to trade the treetops for the trails! Climb aboard a well-maintained 4x4 ATV and explore the countryside around Arenal Volcano on a two-hour off-road adventure. You'll start with an introduction to the ATV and a safety briefing from your bilingual guide before setting out across open pastures and rugged terrain.
Along the way, stop at a favorite local swimming hole on the Arenal River, where you can cool off in the natural pools, then tackle a rocky dirt road climbing to the spectacular Monterrey Towers viewpoint. From more than 3,500 feet above sea level, you'll enjoy panoramic views of La Fortuna Valley and Arenal Volcano. On exceptionally clear days, you may even catch a glimpse of Nicaragua in the distance!
Whether you're an experienced ATV rider or a first-timer, your guides will help you get comfortable before heading out. Expect a mix of scenic countryside, bumpy trails, and plenty of opportunities for memorable photos. And don't worry about getting a little dusty or muddy. That's part of the fun!

Visit to the Maleku Indigenous Community
Your adventure also includes a visit with members of Costa Rica's Maleku Indigenous community, where you'll learn about their cultural heritage, traditional knowledge of the rainforest, and efforts to preserve their language and customs. You'll have an opportunity to see traditional arts and crafts and discover the importance of protecting the forest and its wildlife to Maleku culture. It's a meaningful cultural experience that adds another dimension to your adrenaline-filled day, while supporting the community's cultural traditions and livelihoods.
Montaña de Fuego Hot Springs
After all that ziplining, off-road riding, and exploring, it's time to slow things down a little! Your combo includes access to the facilities at nearby Montaña de Fuego Resort, where you can enjoy the warm thermal pools and try the mineral-rich volcanic mud. Slather it on, let it dry, rinse off in the showers, and finish with a relaxing soak. You can also wander around the resort's outdoor spaces or stop by the bar for a refreshing drink. The resort has a rustic, open-air atmosphere that makes this a wonderfully laid-back way to finish your adventure. Just remember to bring your swimsuit and a change of clothes!
