Departures: Daily at your choice of time from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm at Lake Arenal. Check in will be 15 min before your start time. Hotel pick-ups is included for any service of 3 or more hours. For 1-2 hour boat rentals, transportation can be provided for an additional fee. Exact meeting instructions will be provided on your confirmation voucher.

Children: All ages are welcome! This is a wonderful family activity in La Fortuna. To participate in the water sports pulled by the boat however, the minimum age is 6 years and must have basic swimming skills. Children can ride with their parents for the tubing. Younger children can safely ride with their parents on the SUP or Kayaks, however we strongly recommend when traveling with a toddler to bring your own securely fitting life vests.

Restrictions: All watersports are pretty much a full body workout. Although we can modify the speeds for all ages and activity levels, we do not recommend this type of water sports in Costa Rica for anyone who is not in good healthy physical condition. In other words, if you suffer from chronic back or neck pain, extreme water sports are not the best activity for you. But you can always come along for the ride. The boat holds up to 10 people comfortably.

Insider Tip: Even if you have lakes back home, there is nothing quite as spectacular as spending the day exploring Lake Arenal. The Arenal volcano is one of the most stunning backdrops of course, but the lake itself is HUGE! You really can spend all day out there. If you have the time, spend a full day on the lake and catch the sunset!

Important Booking Note: To ensure ample time for everyone on board to get enough time on their water sport (or sports!) of choice, we recommend to allow at least 15 to 30 minutes per person in your group. For groups of 4, the minimum time is 1 hour. For groups of 6, the minimum rental time is 2 hours, and for any group larger than 6 people, the minimum is 3 hours, however we strongly recommend doubling the minimum time for the best water sports experience on Lake Arenal possible.
