Optional transportation is available from select hotels in the La Fortuna area, with pickup times beginning up to an hour before the tour. Children: The minimum age is 5 years old, and participants must fit securely into the required harness, with a minimum height of 1.1 m (43 inches). Discounted rates apply to children ages 5–12. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the tour. Teens ages 14–17 may participate independently with parental permission, subject to the operator's requirements.

Restrictions: For safety reasons, the maximum participant weight is 136 kg (300 lbs), with a maximum waist circumference of 110 cm (43 inches) and a maximum thigh circumference of 65 cm (25.5 inches). Participants must be in suitable physical condition for the activities. Restrictions may apply to guests with back, neck, bone, muscle, or heart conditions, recent surgeries, or pregnancy.
