Departures: Multiple daily departures starting at 8:30 am, 10:30 am, 12:30 pm , 2:30 pm and 4:00 pm. You will want to select earlier departure times to do both activities in one day. Pick up included for most hotels in La Fortuna. Pick up for hotels around Arenal available at additional charge. Please note your hotel and exact meeting instructions will be provided on your confirmation voucher.

Restrictions: No prior ATV riding experience is necessary. Our La Fortuna ATV tour guides will show you the basics and get you comfortable before we hit the trails. Most ATV rentals in Costa Rica require a valid driver’s license as most Costa Rica ATV tour routes require some highway driving. Due to the nature of motorized water sports, we do not permit pregnant women. People with back and neck injuries should not participate and all guests will be asked to sign a waiver prior to departure.

Children: Ages 5 and up are permitted to ride on the back of their parents. Minimum age to operate the ATV is 16 years old with driver’s license.

Insider Tip: This is our favorite way to explore the region if you are in need of a little action. The ATV ride is great around the mountain and the private trails where you may get muddy. But not to worry, since you hit the lake on the jet skis after, it is the perfect way to refresh and cool off. The views from the lake are amazing! So if you have a waterproof camera and can securely keep it on you, the photo ops are out of this world.

Important booking note: Hotel transportation is included for the combo tour, however if you separate the days, you will need to meet at the Outback Quads ATV location to get the transportation provided from there. The return drop off would be at your hotel. Or if you prefer, we can add on round-trip transportation for an additional $10 per person.
